The Interclub Coaches Association is an information sharing and service network established in 1975. It is the logical and natural result of a cooperative effort of concerned persons working with young people in several educational, athletic and youth service programs since 1970.

CENTURY 21 COUNTDOWN

Nearly six thousand years of recorded history have shown that the strength of a nation, or any other group of people, lies not in its political, economic or military systems. Neither is it really dependent in the final analysis on its natural resources nor the intellectual ability of its populace. Its strength (or weakness) is almost totally dependent on the character of its people and especially of its leaders.

Among the youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow. Through the medium of sports, the Interclub Coaches Association helps some of our future leaders as they grow towards adulthood so that they may be prepared to deal with the challenges and the opportunities of tomorrow's world.

In today's tension filled world of problems and dangers, more concern and sacrifice on the part of adults (and especially by parents) is urgently needed to aid our youth in all areas of interest and activity. Unless such outgoing concern is soon mustered, and the communications gap between the generations bridged by true understanding and cooperation, human survival is threatened.

We hope that the example of ICA Sports will prove helpful.
